Ft. apartment, located at the core of the Beltline district; the best urban location next to downtown Calgary! Our executive open floor plan home is in a corner facing the N.W. It has a magnificent city view of downtown Calgary, which can be enjoyed 24/7 from its floor-to-ceiling all-around windows; the 9ft ceiling allows plenty of light, and the A/C keeps the perfect temperature even on the hottest summer days. Surrounding the whole apartment, in an "L" shape, there is a massive and private roof patio to enjoy the outdoors. It is literally as big as the apartment itself; so, including the patio, the total area adds to about 2400 sq ft. To give you an idea, it stands on top of three townhouses and a bachelor suite; that is how big it is. Great for a large barbecue gathering with urban surroundings, perfect for summer! The place is beautifully furnished and accented with dozens of exotic plants, giving it an industrial-earthly-cozy atmosphere. When you enter the house, there is a nice large foyer with a walk-in closet for coats and other articles. Afterward, you come into the spacious open area where the enormous 10 by 4 ft. granite Kitchen Island invites cooking while appreciating the city view, the patio, and the living and dining spaces. Outside, next to the upscale property, there is a bike path and the Barb Scott Park, perfect for enjoying a coffee, meditating, reading, people-watching, open-air boot-camp exercises like…, or yoga lol. This modern park features a unique interactive sculpture called the Chinook Arc. Sharing the same land is the historic castle-like sandstone school, built in 1907 (now called Dr. Carl Safran Centre). Starbucks is right in the corner; if you prefer something more local with live music, the next options are Kawa Espresso Bar and Gravity Espresso & Wine Bar. Yes, the walkability score is top! Your potential bedroom is hiding at the end of a hall, on the opposite side of the apartment from where our bedroom is, providing considerable privacy and sound isolation. The size of it is about 172 Sq.ft.It's big enough to have your private entertainment area in your bedroom. It is conveniently next to a full bathroom. We have our own full bathroom. The room is furnished with a bed, nightstands, a desk, a shelving unit with doors, a floor lamp, a T.V., and wall paintings; you are welcome to use them if you need them; otherwise, you can bring your own bedroom furnishing. We also have in-suite laundry. There is a fitness center on the premises as well. This "bungalow-like home" apartment is a quintessential place to study, cook, suntan, read, chill out, or entertain friends with a cosmopolitan feel! Ideally, we would share our home with someone who wants to walk to work Downtown and/or just enjoy the vibrant and exciting urban inner-city life. We are looking for a financially stable, working professional, a student, a single parent with a baby/toddler. Simply put, a fun, easy-going, respectful, responsible, and a very clean and neat individual. We offer the same. The idea is to have a harmonic, family-like atmosphere. The rent is $1220 a month. Outdoor parking is available, or extra if you prefer underground parking. As a Security Deposit, we are asking for the equivalent of one month's rent ($1220). This is a luxury apartment in a fantastic location, and the rent is fair and appropriate for what it is; however, we would be willing to temporarily negotiate a little bit of the rent for the person who would be the very right fit to move in… and of course, someone who actually, really, needs it.
